How can you get your cardio workout when you’re injured, can’t get out for your run or walk, or go to the gym? It’s simple. Do this workout in just 10 minutes while seated in your chair. I like to get my cardio in by walking with friends. For the past couple of months, I haven’t been able to go walking due to an injury. I even had to suspend my Tai Chi classes 🙁 An interruption to your routine is the type of thing that can make you feel like you are losing your momentum. It doesn’t really have to be that way.
This 10 minutes of seated cardio video is fun and can get you pumped up.
You can do several 10 minute sessions over the course of your day and still experience the benefits as if you had done the total number of minutes in one session. Even if you are just starting to exercise, you can use this workout to begin with, and increase the amount of exercise in 10 minute stages over time.
Seated But Not Sedentary. Exercise While Sitting
A sedentary lifestyle is a heart disease risk. If you find that you spend too much time sitting, doing a 10 minute seated workout can be just the heart healthy activity you need. You may spend a lot of time seated, but you don’t have to be sedentary. Always check with your doctor before you start a new exercise, or if you have an injury.
So if you can’t get out, or just don’t have the time to do your full cardio session, try exercising to this video. I’d love to know about your experience. We can talk here by commenting below.
Here’s to your health 🙂
